NHS and Care Volunteer Responders
NHS and Care Volunteer Responders is a volunteering service provided by NHS England and delivered by Royal Voluntary Service and GoodSAM.
If you want to give back to people in your community, the NHS and Care Volunteer Responders programme may be for you!
They are recruiting volunteers for a number of different services including friendly telephone calls, support with the delivery of medication & supplies and support with essential shopping, lateral flow tests and prescription delivery.

If you are a professional working with someone who needs support, you can make a referral on behalf of a patient by clicking HERE
If you think you could benefit from support from the NHS and Care Volunteer Responders programme and are not currently working with a professional, you can ask your GP practice put you in touch with a Social Prescribing Link Worker.
Or, if you have a long-term physical health condition, you can self refer in to the SPRING Social Prescribing service for support.
